There is no date set to close RLC Classic down. If it is ever going to close at all, it certainly wouldn't happen this year - and it is looking more and more probable that it will just remain open permanently. In any case, if it were to be closed, we would try to give about a year's notice.

Their are 2 settings in the rules to allow people to decorate and/or use the World Texture Editor. One gives "decorate" rights and this gets them on the Property Manager list, the other simply gives "Texture" Editor rights. This is a fairly new addition and people need to be told about it to select either both or the correct one to decorate at least.
EXAMPLE:
To allow a given name to decorate and to use the World Texture Editor. Set up a new list called (example only) Decorators. Add to this the persons name and any others to be allowed. In the left side table set it so that "Allow" "Decorators" "Enter" shows and hit "Create" then repeat as follows. "Allow" "Decorators" "Decorate" and hit "Create". Then set up to allow these people to also use the texture edit if you want both.

1) Social Center Logins: ®0.25 once per day
2) Client Login to Utherverse network: ®0.75 up to 2x per day
3) View a Profile: ®0.10 up to 10x per day
4) Rate a Profile: ®0.10 up to 10x per day
5) Rate a Picture: ®0.05 up to 30x per day
6) Rate a Blog: ®0.25 up to 2x per day
7) Post a Blog Entry: ®1.00 up to 1 every 3 days
8) Upload First Picture: ®1.00
9) Upload Pictures: ®0.25 up to 20 pictures per month
10) Your Blog Read: ®0.05 up to 10x per day
11) Your Profile Viewed: ®0.05 up to 20x per day
12) Upgrade to paid VIP: ®20.00 plus ®20 Rays per month that you remain paid VIP

Which I believe works out to ®274.50 per month (not including the ®20.00 per month for paid VIP). A month VIP gift is ® 350, so you can't get your VIP in a month because you are 75.50 rays short. It should take you under 1 1/2 months unless you find someone to donate rays to you.
You can't buy VIP for yourself and basic members can't transfer rays to friends, So you need a friend that have enough rays to buy you a level 6 VIP gift. After you are VIP you can send back the rays to your friend.
Remember if you are a basic and get gifted a level 6, you still will have to get age verified with Utherverse.
