I work from home quite a lot, so I am almost always near a PC, which makes me easy to contact most times of the day or night.

In the RLC world, friendly sociable people, who like to have some fun and chat, but if you have an axe to grind, I'm sorry, I shall probably ignore you, as I get enough at work already. Music:
I like to think that I have eclectic tastes in this area; Classic Rock, Pop, Blues, Modern, Jazz, Classical and Early Music etc.
I will give most styles a go and would not dismiss anything "out of hand".
In fact, I will consider anything that has merit, although I find that "rap" style leaves me a little cold.
Movies:
I love Sci-Fi (I grew up with Star-Trek and Star Wars !) and most Comedy (so long as there is not too much slapstick).
I also enjoy a good action movie, as long as it has a reasonable plot and is not all special effects.
Although it can be a little embarassing to admit, at times, I can also be a bit of a sucker for romantic comedies (I have been known to "tear-up" in the "weepie" scenes, even though I might have seen it a number of times).
Oh, and I am also enjoying the Harry Potter films (watched all of them so far), even if they do quite often miss out bits of the story when compared to the novels.
Books:
I used to read quite a lot when I was younger and computers hadn't taken over the world but not as much now.
I like classic science fiction by authors such as Asimov, Clarke and Heinlein, but I will also try books from other genres, if they have been recommended to me by friends.
I have enjoyed reading all of Dan Brown's books, so far. I find them hard to put down once you have started.
I have also been working my way through the "Harry Potter" series, even thought I had previously considered them to be children's books. They have certainly "grown up" as they have progressed.
