Music:
Put it like this, on one CD in my car I have Mozart, Robbie Williams, Linkin Park, Sammy Davies Jr, Sex Pistols, Frank Sinatra, Gospel, Aretha Franklin and Miles Davis. And then some lol.
Movies:
Battleship Potemkin (cool and weird, Russian movie at its best - and oooold), Casablanca (Wishing I would be the one picking up Ingrid Bergman in that particular gin joint. Go fly a kite, Humphrey, lol). Blues Brothers (Fun, fun, more fun, and Carrie Fisher to eat). Matrix (Just love those clothes and shades). Private Benjamin (Silly, no plot, no nothing, but definitely in when I joined the armed forces). Goldeneye (One of my fav Bond movies - and let's face it, Pierce is dead handsome). Goldfinger (Old fashioned, but the name of the she-villain: Pussy Galore! Be still my beating heart). Metropolis (Someday I will understand it). Silence of the Lambs (Scared the wits out of me). Finding Forrester (Sean Connery at his best?). And the silliest, most laughable low-budget movie ever: Revenge of the Nerds.
Books:
I could say something heavy, listing Ulysses, For Whom the Bells Toll, Nothing New from the Western Front or War and Peace. But I haven't read a single word of those. I did love MacLean novels and Desmond Bagley (very unladylike, I know). Clive Cussler is the name of an ill maintained photo copier that spews out the same words and plots in different sequels from novel to novel. Isaac Asimov was a bit beyond me, but I did read Aldous Huxley "Brave New World" (so many years ago) and - of course - George Orwells "Animal Farm" and "1984". "Lord of the Flies" is a must, but sadly I can't remember much. Nowadays I am reading a little Noam Chomsky (brainiac), and Salman Rushdie (wiseass).
