Metamorphosis
Hoping for me what you want me to be.
Can’t you see I just want to be me.
Let me be my own person, set me free.
I do not want to be for you what you want for me to be.
Let me change with time that’s how it is suppose to be.
Like caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly, just let
me turn into my own design in time.
Never try to change me I will always be me.
Allow my metamorphosis to complete, in due time you
will see the ugly duckling turn into the beautiful swan.
You will see the rough diamond turn into expensive stones.
When this has come to pass do not break my bones.
My natural progression I will not change to please you.
Yes I am talking to you and you and you and you.
What is good enough for you for me is not what I want for me.
Metamorphosis, in my time, in my way, in my language in, my
being, in my life, in my culture, in my mind and in my thoughts.
Yes sure enough my metamorphosis is me and what I turn out to be.
