Also, if you ever think about shaving your head, reeeeally think about it. A year and a half later and I still miss my pony tail. Update: pony tail is finally getting back. Hooray!

I enjoy stuff like hiking and x-country skiing and getting outdoors. Cooking up some food and just chilling with a movie on a cold day works too. I also like woodworking. Oh, and I'm a decent archer; just target shooting, not hunting, because of the zen-meditation thing you can get when plinking arrows is wonderful. An in-game friend introduced me to Howard Tate; if you like R&B/soul at all, youtube up some of his stuff. Also jazz like Buena Vista Social Club gets me dancing.
Movies:
I watched The World to Come recently. Set in the 1850s, two homesteading women slowly fall in love. Nothing too explicit, but the writing, narration, and acting is all top notch. Watched it 3 times in a week.
Also, for TV if you haven't seen The Boys and like super stuff, its very entertaining.
Karen Cries on the Bus, set in Bogota, she left her husband not because he was a cheater or abusive, just a jackass. She slowly builds a new life step by step. Simple, yet engaging.
Watched Girls Can't Surf, documentary of some of the pioneers in women's professional surfing in the '80's and '90's. Wonderful pipeline shots and amazing life stories.
Books:
Watership Down, hahaha. I love that book. Bunnies!
Also, I read Empire of the Summer Moon last summer. History of Comanche native Americans in the the 1800s. It is an amazing read.
Been reading The Four Agreements, almost done. The opening was odd and the writing style is massively repetitive, but the philosophy being shared synchs with me very well.
Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl. Was told I should read this as a teen and neglected it until now. Absolutely amazing. A young person in very tough times writing so well, while dealing with the worst that can come. Literally changes my view of the world.
