Disrespect, prejudice and nastiness have no place in RedLight.
Prejudice doesn't come from some horrific and complicated theory, it has a much simpler origin, rooted in everyday life.
It flourishes on the Internet, at workplaces and in neighborhoods and is an outlet for peoples own failures and disappointments. And is above all, an expression of ignorance and fear. Ignorance of the uniqueness of other people and fear of losing a position or a social privilege.

A person's skin color, race, language or place of birth has nothing to do with human characteristics or value. Judging people by such standards stands in stark contrast to the principle of human equality, but is shamefully easy to use as a weapon for those who feel inferior - at work, in social life, in competition for a girl or a boy.

This is why prejudice always lurks, even in an enlightened society.
It can take the form of a joke, a thoughtless remark, a small act of contempt.
The perpetrator may not mean any harm, but for the victim it can tear open wounds that never heal.
