I love to read. I read books on so many subjects that I would be a certified hoarder if I kept every book I ever read. I love the invention of the e-reader. Best thing since the cell phone IMHO.

Music:
Music interests are mostly country.
In middle school and high school...I was country, when country wasn't cool...I love the oldies from the 80's and 90's. Reba, George Straight, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Alan Jackson.
I don't listen to whole lot of anything else. I mean there are songs I like in other genres. But they are usually stumbled upon by accident. In a movie or on TV.
Movies:
I am a sucker for a rom-com or a comedy.
I will watch a horror flick, but I watch through my hand most of the time...lol. As my 14 year old son tells me, "Mom, it's not that scary!"
I will watch action movies, of course.
Dramas with a good plot can be fun occasionally.
Sadly, musicals are usually at the bottom of my list. I just can't understand why in the world the movie industry wants you to believe that it's perfectly normal and natural to start singing about the most inane things. But again, I grew up watching every Elvis movie ever made. So I'm not knocking them entirely, just not one of my favorites.
