Wow that's a hard one. Who have I met to start with. I think I would say Sir Ed Hillary is the person I would look up to the most. I had the good fortune to meet him twice many years ago. His exploits in climbing Mount Everest and going to the South Pole were surpassed by all work he did building schools for the people in Nepal. The second would be Sir Peter Blake who I met in 1987 prior to the Whitbread round the yacht race. I met him during the first defense of the Americas Cup. I was lucky to meet Dick Smith at a function in Australia and I admire the wonderful work he does to promote Australia and how good it is to be Australian. His commitment for people to buy Australian made has to be commended.
