![]() I've been in rlc for a long time and, after a mishap or 2 along the way, have found a comfort zone where I've been happy and content for a number of years. My favorite musical artist is Tony Rice, a masterful guitar player and, before he lost his voice, great singer, with great taste in music. He's gone now, but his music lives on.
Movies:
These days my wife and I spend a lot of time watching TCM, we love the classics :)). We occasionally find something more modern we like ("Bridge of Spies" was a really good one). Hard to pick a favorite movie, a few inlcude "The Quiet Man", "Meet John Doe", "Bite the Bullet", "Open Range", "An Affair to Remember", etc.
Books:
"To Kill a Mockingbird" had a major influence on me, "The Life of Edgar Sawtelle" was a recent read that I really liked. Otherwise, enjoy history, historical fiction, biographies, nature-oriented books, etc. Currently I'm reading Jon Meacham's biography of Abraham Lincoln
