About me:
Hmm...about me. Well, there's not too much to say! I guess I'll describe my personality and personal appearance, as well as my background. :) I'm about 5'4", I weigh around 120-something (124, last time I checked) pounds, I have brunette hair, hazel eyes, and I'm caucasian. I'm actually very white, albeit "pale" isn't accurate. Um...I usually like to keep my nails painted or polished. I'll sometimes wear french nails, too. My favorite colors? Black, purple...anything deep. I usually wear my hair naturally, but I personally prefer my hair straightened. The problem? It's so damn hard to maintain!! =/ I'm a paragon of procrastination, so I usually stick with the low-maintanence side of life. Heh...it works, at least! =) Um...as for my personality, I'm actually pretty shy. Real-life conversations and casual chat feel pretty awkward for the first ten minutes or so, and during those torturous moments, I blush like an ostentatious make-up enthusiast. I have a few very close friends, and, for the most part, that's how I like it. Simplicity and easy management are the bonuses of a small circle of friends...in my opinion, of course. :-) Um, I'm also pretty straightforward and honest. If you ask me what I think about your jeans, I'll tell you what I think. I don't usually hurt peoples' feelings, though -- ever heard of "constructive criticism?" Heh, heh. =)
I'm currently in a loose relationship with someone, although I'm not sure whether you'd call him a boyfriend or not. Sometimes, we'll pass each other without more than a single gesture. About my background...well, I am straight, although I've always been more than a bit interested in a female-female relationship. Meh. As for critera regarding religion and belief, I'm simply Atheist. I'm more of a logical thinker, and I personally dislike religion's influence on social politics. Take gay marriage for instnace -- it sounds kind of disgusting to me, but they're human beings with their own set of beliefs, morals, desires, and ethics. Why the Hell would it be morally incorrect to follow your instincts? Because of religion? Give me a break.
Eventually, I do want to start a family. It's nice to think about being a mother of a couple of kids and a wife to a solid, loyal husband.
As for my educational status, I'm currently enrolled in Concord University, West Virginia. I major in English, and I plan to pursue a teaching career. eventually, I hope to become an English professor...'till then, I guess the rules of life apply: work your arse off until you get what you want and don't bring the right attitude to the table each day.
...Did I mention that I wear glasses?

If you type like you're on ten shots of tequila, I probably don't want to associate with you. If you can't discern "their" from "there," I probably don't want to associate with you. If your language of origin isn't English and you're not confidently and proficiently -speaking- English, then I don't want to associate with you. If you're not affiliated with the above, then sure...I'd love to talk to you! :-) Just act like you're meeting someone in real life...think about what you'd say, how you'd act, et cetera. Interests? >.>' Hmm. Well...as for physical activity, I enjoy swimming, fishing, walking, and dancing. Shut up! I know it sounds cliche. I'm more of a calm, laid-back type of person, and I can't seem to get irritated at anything for more than ten seconds. Social-wise, I'm interested in relationships, friendship, and casual conversation. I love decent parodies, clever jokes, and subtle flirts... Yeah, I know. More cliches. =) I'm also interested in romance. I have a rather passionate personality, and I'm more of the "love is magic" type of person. Uhh...favorite songs include Stairway to Heaven, Old Man, Heart of Gold, most of the "Dark Side of the Moon" album's songs, Dead or Alive, Dying In your Arms Tonight, and, albeit I don't like too many of Guns 'n' Roses' songs, I really love Sweet Child o Mine.
Movies:
Favorite movies...hmm. Gran Torino, Avatar, Revolutionary Road. I hate chick flicks unless they're not as corny as Hell. I'm not a tomboy, no...but cheesy, low-budget shows that regularly air on Lifetime aren't my thing. No, they're not romantic or interesting. They suck!
Books:
Books? Hmm. Well...let's disregard that the box is entitled "books." Literature sounds more appropriate, in my opinion -- speaking of literature, I'm a real sucker for Erotica. Psst... don't tell anyone, but I read about half of Literotica.com when I was fifteen. It all just exploded in me, and erotic literature was a great outlet for the feelings I was experiencing. I enjoy most historic literary works and authors such as Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare, Homer...*ten hours later.* If it's clever, I can read it! =)
