About me:
On the outside, I tend to be a lighthearted mix between a cynic and a pessimist who (tries) to be laid-back and funny about it. and sometimes, I might actually succeed.
I've always enjoyed laughing at all the silly little things that myself and others say and do. We're all imperfect, we all have our unfavorable moments, and the best thing we can do about it is to not let them tear us down.
I'm told I'm not shy, but still quiet. I guess the best interpretation is that I talk less than normal out of pure choice, and not from fear. Or maybe I'm still at a stage where I try to be deliberate in the things I say.
There's a whole lot more to me than what I've put here. If you're interested enough, I'd be happy to tell you more. Emotional stuff, life-plan stuff, anything that's shaped me into the person I am today, or the person I hope to become. Try me.
Who I'd like to meet:
There's a lot of different kinds of people who might interest me. But if I had a choice in a girl, it'd be someone who was intelligent, composed, low-key, and most importantly, willing to confide in me as her best friend.

My "power base," so to speak, consists of some classical (only the best, led by Gustav Mahler); symphonic metal like Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra; a little bit of trance, such as DJ Sammy; awesome film scores; and the amazing Yanni. Though I'm not terribly religious, I also enjoy Christian rock from time to time, usually including 4him, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Sandi Patty.
The rest of my musical taste, outside said "power base," is random, usually 2-3 songs that I like from a particular musical group. Examples include Linkin Park, Toby Keith, Evanescence, John Tesh (Live at Red Rocks), Michael W. Smith (Freedom), Rob Thomas, Rascall Flatts, and The Scorpions.
