Thanks for wanting to know more about the Champions of Organized Kaos, or the House of COK (COK_House in world). As an organization intended to promote an enjoyable game play environment for everyone in RLC, COK’s main objectives are to help new players learn to navigate and enjoy this Utherverse.
By helping Noobs, we encourage good people to play regularly and to expand the in game world. Every avatar adds something to the world, and every avatar deserves respect. Teaching Noobs the ropes we teach them how we want to be treated, and how they should treat others. We educate them about “go there avatar” and why that’s really a more intimate thing than “go there region”, and why they should rate newly added friends’ profiles, pics and blogs. We teach them how to earn rays and points. Everyone benefits.
We also believe in the Sovereign rights of other Houses, and their place in RLC. Just because someone is a member of COK does not mean they couldn’t or shouldn’t be a member of any other House. COK is a broad House, and other Families can certainly belong to it.
We don’t expect members to put _COK after their name, but if they want to, that is perfectly appropriate. COK Officers may be required to place _COK in their name for ease of identification during events.
Membership has its perks. One of the founding philosophies of COK is that if you are going to add someone to your friends list, do them the courtesy of rating their profile and pics. Rate them appropriate, we’re not asking anyone to lie, but if you value someone enough to add them as a friend, one would think you value them enough to at least rate their profile a 9 or 10. The same idea should follow for pics. Also, this is how you build rays. Viewing profiles, and rating profiles, pics and blogs all help you earn rays, again, everybody wins.
COK should also front Major Events in RLC. By having agreements with other Houses, DJ’s, Go-Go Dancers, “Working” women and men, and other service providers, COK could provide a great amount of exposure, as well as opportunities to earn rays. The events may be, from time to time, Charity Events that raise rays for COK to perform its intended functions.
The main core focus of COK is to provide a unified voice for all its members. When members express concerns or desires, COK can provide a strong voice of a vast membership that can garner the attention needed to cause action in the game. By the same token, COK can help RLC staff and Dev’s keep its membership accurately informed.
