Zot11's Scoop
About me:
Fun guy who enjoys life and wants to have as much fun as possible. Open to new and different ideas and willing to try things out at least once. Enjoy reading a wide variety if topics. My current reading favorites are collections of old comic strips (Dick Tracy, Terry and the Pirates, Steve Canyon and Buck Rogers to name a few). Favorite author is Harry Turtledove and his alternate history novels.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone and everyone. I like hearing about your interests. What do you like, what do you read, what makes you the person you are? Always interested in chatting with someone.

Interests:
Reading, writing, computers, movies, TV and spending time with friends and family. I enjoy a wide variety of reading material. Current favorite author is Harry Turtledove. Isaac Asimov still rates at the top of the list. In "lite" reading, Geof Johns and James Robinson are favorites. I've been enjoying the variety of collections of old newpaper comic strips (Terry and the Pirates, Dick Tracy, Little Orphan Annie, Peanuts, Gasoline Alley, Buck Rogers and the list goes on). Not sure why they seem to have become so popular right now, but I'm not complaining. This is a strong interest of mine so feel free to start up a conversation about newpaper comic strips as an ice breaker. Current game I like to spend time with is City Life. I like watching older TV shows (Mash, Star Trek, Time Tunnel, Rockford Files, St. Elsewhere, Soap, WKRP) and enjoy newer ones (24, Heroes, Lost, Smallville, Simpsons).
My Favorite Websites:
Amazon, IMDB, TVShowsonDVD, Google (never tire of picking a topic at random and seeing what's out on the Web about that topic).
Music:
easy listening rock and roll (Beatles to Police)
Movies:
all types
Books:
mystery, sci-fi, classics, biography, history, thriller, adventure, collections of newspaper comics strips
