Any activity that takes place on or near a beach. The smell of the ocean absolutely invigorates me.

I can listen to most music, but I prefer rock oldies (60' & 70's) and Rock Lite (80's).
And yes, it's true, Disco does in fact SUCK and Techno is no better....
The Who, Zeplin, Hendrix, Little Feat and The Faders, The Donnas and The Veronicas are usually in the CD player in the car.
My musical tastes are actually pretty diverse so there's no telling what might show up on my play list.
Movies:
Musicals/Musical Comedy: Guys and Dolls, Damn Yankees and Paint Your Wagon (after all you get a musical & Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin in the mix). __ Comedy: The Marx Brothers were and still are BRILLIANT. Trading Places is as funny the 100th time as it was the first and Woody Allen makes me laugh til I cry. __ Drama: The Searchers, Gods and Generals, The Great Santini, Tears of the Sun and anything with Sean Connery or Cary Grant, Steve McQueen or Bruce Willis.__Top Gun for Val Kilmer and the flight sequences, otherwise it was laughable. (oh and BTW, when you push the throttle forward it goes faster, it doesn't "put on the brakes so they'll fly right by " Good job Technical Advisor - must have been some REMF & not actually a Naval Aviator that dreamed that one up.)__ Even though I am one, chick flicks usually bore me to tears.
Books:
Histories, Mysteries and Thrillers. __"Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell, which is now on my favorites list and a must read as far as I'm concerned. __ Anything by Shelby Foote (History), Robert B. Parker (Mystery), Tom Clancy (Thriller) and I've read all of Ian Fleming's James Bond books (I have a complete set in both Hard Cover and Paperback) a dozen times each, at least.
