About me:
UPDATE: As of 2/4/09, I'm finally back home in the states. I am, however, not home in San Diego but on an extended vacation trying to relax and decompress after deployment
I'm a newly single, 39 year old white male. Was that specific enough? I'm really here checking this out for fun. I've been off and on this site for a couple of years now and I have to say that I do enjoy being here. What I don't enjoy is the drama that can sometimes raise it's ugly head. So please know this, this is for entertainment purposes and for mutual fun and relaxation. I've made the mistake in the past by forgetting this, and it cost me some friendships. Not doing that again.
I've been to many parts of the world throughout my military career, both on Active Duty and in the Reserves. That has kind of adventure has fueled my desire to "explore" various activities. Nothing really too extreme, but I'm not all that "vanilla" anymore. Ha, come to think of it, I've been called eccentric, meaning I like what I like and how I like it. I guess that fits. A little update here... I'm finding that I do like things a bit on the extreme side, though you may find out that I can start off kind of shy.
Geez, I feel like I'm on "The Dating Game." Remember that one? Oh, the picture of me, the real one, is about a year old. I'm still in the Reserves, but I no longer wear the glasses.

Again, it all depends on my mood. I do like the latest round of comic book movies, and of course Star Wars. Some of the others that I like are The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, We Were Soldiers, Blackhawk Down, Pearl Harbor, 300... and the list goes on. Oh, yeah... BATMAN.
