Movies:
Chichinin no samurai... because I saw this movie as a child which attracted me to Japan. Of course the action was nice, but the new culture and way of thinking that I saw in the movie opened up a new world. This movie influenced my life greatly,.. it made me a traveller, it made me appreciate Asian cultures, it resulted me becoming a Buddhist, etc. etc.
Another movie that influenced me is Tampopo. This made me interested in cooking, and my friends tell me these days that my cooking is not that bad.
Books:
I read and have read a lot... don't know which one to put down here. Books are to me as entertaining as movies. I guess I have a vivid imagination..
