You’re back? Good, I didn’t scare you away after all. Well, since you aren’t phased by my Adonis-like look, I should probably tell you other wonderful things about myself!
Chivalry isn’t dead. Don’t be offended if I open the door for you, offer you my arm as we walk and give you my jacket if the night turns cold. That’s just the way it is.
Let’s start at the beginning…
I stared in the Rocky movies. At least that’s what I thought when I was a kid. After watching Rocky movies I would strut around the house telling Dad one day I would be a fighter. He would just say “don’t be stupid join the army”. Lol crazy. I had dreams of taking on Jeff Fenech and Mike Tyson.
I love a challenge it’s the best way to learn. Boxing keeps me fit, I never got to take on Jeff Fenech or Mike Tyson. That’s why I can still write this today lol.
I am a country boy at heart, but living in the city now. Growing up as an army brat, we moved around a lot. My father was a jack of all trades, skills he passed on to me. At age 10 I had my first tool kit. At age 12 I remember being covered in grease as we took two old cars, stripped the engines and gear boxes, rebuilt them and made one good car. By age 14 I had my own drill and circular saw. The parents made sure I got a full education. I won’t make you carry lumber, but on a hot day I’ll need you to bring me an ice cold lemonade while I’m rebuilding the back porch, tree house, or that new hot tub you always wanted.
I have come to clean Zee Pool ;) lol yes I’m a pool guy. But not like the average pool guy. I look after the big stuff. The best way to describe what I do is, I’m a cross between an electrician, a plumber, a pump mechanic, an IT expert and a chemist. I love water, working with it and being around it. Water is a natural element and more powerful than any of us.
Even though I’m naughty sometimes, I do have some favourite dishes I love to cook and eat healthy. With my background in personal training I have found an awesome gym. I go 2-3 times each week, have made some great friends and love the atmosphere. I’m not addicted to it, but I love the feeling of exercise and no girl ever complained about a guy who stays fit!
Those are the things that all my friends know about me. Here’s the thing they don’t… all the reading and music my parents tried to force on me… stuck. My big secret is this: My favourite way to spend Saturday isn’t sports, but it’s to curl up in my oversized hammock in the back yard with a good book, cool drink and my favourite girl snuggled up beside me with a book of her own.
If that’s the type of weekend you enjoy, if you don’t mind a guy who constantly picks you up in his arms and carries you out to the back yard to join him, and if you can handle having someone play Salsa music and take hold of you to dance bear foot on the rug once in a while, we should talk.
