About me:
Hi, welcome on my profile page...
My name is Eolfy (Roger), named after one of my first characters on World of Warcraft, long time dead and buried :)
World of Warcraft, a game that I've been enjoying, as of this writing, for the last 16 years...
After getting a bit tired of WoW I've been looking around to find another way to make some friends whether IRL or Virtually and to have a fun thing to do after a usual long and stressful day at work :), that's how I ended up here on RLC.

- Some details about education and career:
I graduated in 1992 as an Electronics Engineer specialized in Micro-Electronics, after which I did my military service as a Logistics Officer and signed up from 03-1994till 12-2015 as a reserve officer ending as a Commanding Officer (rank before Major).
Due to waiting to get enlisted in the army I started as self-employed (sec occupation) IT-tech guy from 11-1994 till 12-2011 where I worked on computer assembly, network setup and software development.
After being dismissed for my military service, I finally got to start my career. I started as a developer moving to systems analyst, business analyst and software architect. After following courses and certifications I moved on to Solutions Architect (Architecting computing hardware, datacenters and networks) and later on going in-depth into management and Business processes and business optimization as an Enterprise Architect. In July 2019 I started my own company and performing the above as a consultant.
- Some details about the little family:
I've met my wife back in 1989 during prom and we got married a little while after having been dismissed from military service in July 1995.
No kids but a dog named Kyra (Labrador Retriever), the second one after our first one (Tasha) died back in January 2010. She was born mid December 2009 and she got home in February 2010.
- A new chapter in my RLC adventure...
On December 20th, 2021,
I became part of the CWLF (Charmed White-Lighter Family).
They invited me and welcomed me as their new brother. In this process I gained new brothers and sisters for which I am grateful. I had already met each one of them before and had some nice chats with them, some chats got longer with some than with others but the red-line across the various conversations I had, is that this family is a warm family, pretty much like IRL where it’s fun to hangout with, where people care, support and help each other when things go south.
